Blight asks: Where will West Coast go from here?

Malcolm Blight expects the West Coast Eagles to fall out of the top eight this year.

The Eagles scraped into the finals in 2017 but after losing Brownlow midfielders Sam Mitchell and Matt Priddis will fall away quickly according to Blight, particularly through the centre of the ground.

Speaking on Sportsday SA, Blight said: “Where will they go from here? Backwards.

“Their top 5 in their Best & Fairest were Yeo, McGovern, Shuey, Hurn and Kennedy. Only one midfielder!

“Where are the rest? No Mitchell, no Priddis.

“It is hard to see where the improvement is going to come from.”
