Cal Twomey’s U18 Team of the Year for Week 3

AFL draft expert Callum Twomey has named his Builders Acadamy Australia U18 Team of the Year for week 3.

Round 3 saw the inclusion of Western Jets defender Stefan Radovanovic, Calder Cannons defender Mitch Podhasjski and South Ausralian duo Jackson Hately and Luke Valente.

The quartet have caught the eye with some impressive performances for their respective clubs.

Cal Twomey made a few changes to his rolling Under 18’s team of the year this week.

In: Stefan Radovanovic Western Jets FC, Mitch Podhajski Calder Cannons Football Club, Jackson Hately Central District Football Club and Luke Valente Norwood Football Club.

“Stefan is in the back pocket after an impressive season so far and Mitch Podhajski, who missed out on being drafted last year, has been in cracking form this year with 28 disposals and two goals,” Twomey said on Future Stars.


“Jackson Hateley is another impressive player with 22 touches and goal on debut over in the SANFL and two goals in the Academy last week.

“Luke Valente comes in after having 39 in the SANFL recently and has been on fire.”
