Fremantle are set to go after some big names over the next couple of trade periods.

Sportsday news breaker Tom Morris is of the belief that the Dockers remain very keen on West Coast Eagles defender Jeremy McGovern.

And there is still strong interest in Melbourne’s Perth-born forward Jesse Hogan as well as Angus Brayshaw, whose younger brothers Andrew and Hamish are already in WA with Freo and West Coast respectively.

“We know that Fremantle are very much into Jeremy McGovern and willing to pay top dollar for him,” Morris said on Sportsday.

“I can tell you, they are still in for Jesse Hogan and it’s been an interest that’s been there for quite a while.

“Now, how can they fit them both in the salary cap?

“The answer is: they can. Over the next two years, they are planning to go after McGovern this year, Hogan next year.

“And they’re also keen on Angus Brayshaw.”

Morris added: “Hogan is very much still on their radar.

“He comes out of contract at the end of 2019 and that’s when Freo, I expect, will pounce.”
