Brent Harvey says there is one element of Adelaide’s list which worries him.
The North Melbourne champion analysed the Crows’ list on Future Stars and admitted that a lack of quality young big men is cause for concern for last season’s Grand Finalist.
“What they need is a backup ruckman for Sam Jacobs,” said Harvey.
“They’ve got a young guy named Reilly O’Brien at the minute. He’s 22 years old, he’s a Melbourne boy, but he’s only played two games.
“If ‘Saucy’ Jacobs goes down, they’ve got to bring Josh Jenkins into the ruck and that throws out their whole structure.
“I don’t think they can manufacture something without Jacobs in the team. He’s very, very important to them.”
However, the AFL games record holder, as well as host Nathan Brown, feel the spine in particular and the majority of Adelaide’s list is in good shape.
