Former St Kilda coach Grant Thomas has ruled out any chance of him returning to the club in any official capacity.
Thomas confirmed he made contact with St Kilda president Peter Summers, but is only willing to give advice to help the club out.Like others, I’m interested in the circumstances of your club when it’s at a crossroads and you’d like to know what’s going and if anyone needs any help or advice,” he told SEN Breakfast.
“Would I love to be involved with St Kilda, of course I would, but I’ve got other priorities.
“I’m not interested in going back to St Kilda, I won’t, I’ve been there and I’ve done that and I won’t go back.
“I’m available to help and assist in any way or shape that the club may think I can, but I’m not interested going back and running anything or doing anything.”
St Kilda sits 16th on the ladder and hasn’t won a game since their Round 1 victory over Brisbane.
