West Coast superstar Andrew Gaff will either stay with the Eagles or join North Melbourne in the offseason, according to a report in the Herald Sun.
Gaff, currently serving an eight-game ban for punching Fremantle’s Andrew Brayshaw, is in Melbourne tossing up his future, with the Kangaroos offering the 26-year-old a deal in the 1.2 million dollar a year range.
The Eagles offer is around $850,000 per season, with the club facing a squeeze to retain Gaff’s services, along with in-demand ruckman Scott Lycett.
Melbourne and St Kilda, who have been linked to Gaff, are no longer confident in securing his services, while Essendon aren’t chasing him.
