Sydney is heavily pursuing Port Adelaide defender Tom Jonas, according to SEN Adelaide correspondent Tom Rehn.
“I know for a fact Tom Jonas has been sought out very heavily by Sydney,” Rehn told SEN’s KB and The Doc.
“They are super keen to get him over there. He has got one year to run on the contract, the Power are desperate to keep him.
“He is on pretty thin money. My understanding is he is only on high three’s ($300k) and that was because remember at the time, he got suspended for that hit on Andrew Gaff.

“That’s another player Port desperately don’t want to lose.
“I think he will re-sign and Port will probably re-sign him in the next couple of months but he is a player that’s attracting a lot of interest.”
Jonas made the All-Australian squad of 40 this year and averaged a career-high 16.7 disposals in 18 appearances.
