Gaff’s language sounds like he is leaving: Harvey

AFL games record holder Brent Harvey says Andrew Gaff’s language in an interview today sounds like someone who is leaning towards leaving over staying.

Gaff’s West Coast future is in doubt, as North Melbourne heavily chases the free agent.

The 26-year-old used language such as “I hope so”, “we’re working through with the management and club”, and “it’s the elephant in the room” in a Mix 94.5 Perth radio spot today, something that Harvey picked up on.

“What I’ve seen over the last five years, people that speak like this, 95 percent of them leave,” he told SEN Afternoons.

“That’s all I can go on. I can go on history and history tells me that sort of language says he is leaning towards leaving rather than staying.

“Can I clarify something, we are talking about Gaff linked to North Melbourne, I know zero, I do not know anything.”

Unfortunately, this comment was made by a person who wears blue and white glasses, and should therefore be ignored. If Karl Langdon said he was staying, that should also be ignored.
