Gold Coast captain Steven May is expected to notify the club of his desire to be traded, according to The Courier-Mail.
The report states that May has held discussions with both Collingwood and Hawthorn, with the Suns fully aware that these meetings took place.
It is anticipated that the 26-year-old will seek an exit route in the coming weeks as he will not commit his future to the club beyond next season.
May has one year to run on his current deal.
Suns coach Stuart Dew told SEN’s Whateley on Tuesday that May is no guarantee to captain the club next season, but remained hopeful he would commit to a new deal.
