“It’s just my hip, I just got a corkie hip pointer, exactly what was said,” he told SEN Afternoons.
“Nothing out of the norm, just a corkie I’ve had to manage throughout the week. I’m feeling good and ready to go.”
McGovern added his session at today’s captain’s run was completed to simply tick “all the boxes”.
The 26-year-old was a member of the Eagles’ 2015 Grand Final team, and isn’t allowing emotion to get the better of him heading into tomorrow’s decider.
“I’m pretty relaxed,” McGovern said.
“I’m trying to treat it as much as a normal week as we can. All the extra stuff is a little bit different but I’m pretty relaxed and chill.”
