North Melbourne midfielder Jed Anderson will be recommitting to the club according to NAB AFL Trade Radio’s Damian Barrett.
Anderson will re-sign for a further two years, after a breakout season in the midfield.
Australian Football Hall of Famer Terry Wallace believes everything is falling into place for the Roos.
“It sounds like North Melbourne are going to have a really powerful, strong trade period and congratulations to them,” Wallace told NAB AFL Trade Radio.
“They’ve almost been the little brother in the background that’s been fighting hard and trying to get something over the line and have been falling short, but this year, it does sort of seem like all the parts of the jigsaw puzzle are coming together.”
Wallace has been impressed with Anderson’s form turnaround in recent times.
“Anderson, when they brought him over, those first 12 months were a bit of an eyebrow raiser,” he said.
“His last 12 to 18 months have been very good for the club. They’re going to have a really strong midfield unit, particularly if they can land Andrew Gaff, Jared Polec and Aaron Hall.”
Richmond midfielder Shai Bolton has also reportedly recommitted according to AFL.com.au
