Gold Coast midfielder Aaron Hall has nominated North Melbourne as his club of choice in the upcoming trade period.
Hall, 27, has been heavily linked with the Kangaroos and now looks set to secure a move to Arden Street.
The out-of-contract Sun played just six games for the Suns this season due to injury.
Playing finals football was a key factor behind his decision to nominate the Roos.
“I have played 100 games and haven’t looked like playing finals and that has been a massive driver for me in this decision,” Hall told the *Herald Sun*.
“I thought North were probably going to be down the lower part of the ladder this year, but the way the young guys came in and the way the star players performed, I reckon they have gained lot of confidence.
“Hopefully I can help make them a better team with my attributes.”
Hall has played 103 AFL games since making his debut in 2012.
