Tom Liberatore is set to remain at the Western Bulldogs, diminishing any fears he may depart the club.
It was reported in the Herald Sun that Liberatore was given an ultimatum when he returned to Australia from a recent holiday, where he has two weeks to prove he deserves a new deal.
However, Tim Watson says there is no concerns Liberatore will land at a new club, but he will go on another holiday before preseason training begins.
“He is not hanging around (in Australia), it has been reported that he has to hang around and prove himself, he is not, he is going on another holiday,” Watson told SEN Breakfast.
“He has been made to earn the new deal but he won’t be leaving.
“He won’t be going anywhere, he is at the Bulldogs, he is staying.”
