South Australian youngster Jack Lukosius is open to the idea of being drafted to any of the 18 AFL clubs.

The prodigious forward is one of the leading candidates to be taken with pick one at this year’s National draft, after starring for his state in the Under 18 National Championships.

With Carlton or Gold Coast looming as potential destinations for the teenager, Lukosius is resigned to the fact that it is unlikely he will be drafted by either Adelaide or Port Adelaude due to their positions in the draft.

“I’ve really loved my time in South Australia, I’m really close to my family,” Lukosius told SEN Afternoons.

“If I was to end up there it would be amazing for me, but I’m pretty aware that there’s only two teams out of the 18 in SA so it’s going to be pretty tough to end up there.

“I’m pretty open to going anywhere and making the most of wherever I end up.”

Lukosius predicted that Vic Country midfielder Sam Walsh will go at pick one when the National Draft gets underway on November 22nd at Marvel Stadium.
