The Gold Coast Suns look to be at the front of the queue for Dom Tyson, according to Matthew Lloyd.
The Melbourne midfielder has been linked with the likes of Essendon, Hawthorn and Carlton in recent times but Lloyd is of the belief that the former number two draft pick will get to the Suns this trade period.
“Dom Tyson has been told to explore his options and he will not be at Melbourne next year,” Lloyd said on Channel Nine’s The Trade Table last night.
“Hist most likely destination will be the Gold Coast Suns. That’s where he will play next year, most likely.”
Prompting Damian Barrett to ask: “Not Hawthorn, not Essendon?”
To which Bombes great Lloyd replied: “That’s my information, the Gold Coast Suns, the frontrunner at the moment.”
Formerly of the GWS Giants, 25-year-old Tyson is contracted with the Demons until the end of next season but is believed to be open to finding further opportunities elsewhere.
