NAB AFL Trade Radio journalist Sam McClure doesn’t expect Western Bulldogs defender Jordan Roughead to return to the club in 2019.
Roughead is a restricted free agent who is yet to recommit to the club, but McClure said it’s hard to work out what’s going on with him.
“I can’t get a read on that one,” McClure told NAB AFL Trade Radio.
“I can’t see him going back (to the Bulldogs).
“I think it’s been a tough couple of years for Jordan Roughead.”
With Chad Wingard nominating Hawthorn as his club of choice, McClure expects the Dogs to take their first pick to the draft.
“My gut feel with the Dogs is they’ll hold onto pick seven and take the best player available to them.”
