Taylor Duryea traded to the Dogs

Two-time premiership Hawk Taylor Duryea has been traded to the Western Bulldogs.

The Dogs have given up a future fourth round pick as part of the deal.

AFL.com.au reporter Nick Bowen believes the Dogs chose to trade for Duryea rather than sign him as a free agent as to not impact their Luke Dahlhaus compensation pick.

Dahlhaus left the club for Geelong as an unrestricted free agent last week.

The Hawks have recently made moves of their own, trading a future fourth round pick of their own for GWS midfielder Tom Scully.
