Mike Sheahan believes Brisbane recruit Marcus Adams has the potential to be a star player, believing he has similar traits to Jeremy McGovern.
The Lions secured Adams’ services in the dying moments of the trade period, conceding just pick 32 and a future third-round selection for the 25-year-old.
According to Sheahan, Adams could be one of the steals of the exchange period.

“I reckon Marcus Adams has got the potential to be a star,” Sheahan told SEN Breakfast.
“He plays like McGovern plays. I didn’t say he was McGovern, but he has got a brilliant pair of hands.”
Adams debuted in 2016, but managed just 27 games for the Western Bulldogs, dealing with a number of injury issues.
