Delisted Carlton defender Sam Rowe would be open to joining another club if the opportunity presented itself.
Rowe was one of four players culled by the Blues this week along with Jed Lamb, Sam Kerridge and Nick Graham.
Stuck on 99 AFL games, the 30-year-old will wait and see whether any clubs would be willing to throw the veteran a lifeline at senior level.
“Potentially (whether he’ll look to play on),” Rowe told SEN Afternoons.
“We’ll see if there is any opportunities at other AFL clubs, so I’ll be open to having a conversation if there is opportunities.
“We’ll have to see how that pans out in recent weeks.”

Rowe explained the reasons behind Carlton’s decision to not offer him a new contract.
“They’re going to go in a different direction,” Rowe added.
“I think they need to clear some spots. They didn’t say exactly who they were after, but it sounds like they’re trying to get another couple of people through the door.
“They’re going to the back people who they’ve got on their list and go in a different direction.”
