SEN Time On host Sam McClure has revealed that Carlton are expecting offers from rival clubs for its pick one in this year’s AFL National Draft.
With clubs now able to live trade picks between now and the final draft night on the 23rd of November, the Blues could be approached by either Gold Coast, Port Adelaide or Adelaide regarding a potential exchanging of picks.

“The news I can bring to you is that the Carlton Football Club is expecting offers for its pick one,” McClure told SEN’s Time On.
“What went under the radar during the trade period is that we repeatedly asked Stephen Silvagni if they would be open to trading pick one or if it was off the table.
“At no stage did SOS or anyone at the Carlton Football Club say it was off the table.
“Gold Coast have picks 2, 3 and 6, Port Adelaide have picks and 5 and 10 and Adelaide have picks 8, 13, 16 and 21.”
Both the Crows and the Power are eager to improve their standings in the draft in order to secure South Australian pair Jack Lukosius and Izak Rankine.
As things stand, Vic Country midfielder Sam Walsh is expected to go at pick one if Carlton opt not to trade the coveted selection.
