SEN Time On host Sam McClure has reported that delisted Geelong speedster Jordan Murdoch will join Gold Coast on a three-year deal.
Murdoch was culled by the Cats after playing 108 games across seven seasons.
McClure says the Suns have beaten St Kilda for the signature of the 26-year-old.
“Jordan Murdoch, the delisted Cat who played 100 games in the blue and white – is going to end up at the Suns,” McClure told SEN’s Time On.
“I think he’s been given a three-year contract by Gold Coast, he was offered two years by St Kilda, but has obviously taken the longer contract.”
Along with Murdoch, delisted St Kilda midfielder Nathan Freeman is also on the Suns’ radar, according to McClure.
“Also interest from the Gold Coast Suns in luckless former Saint and Magpie Nathan Freeman,” McClure said.
“I think Nathan Freeman is a decent chance of continuing his AFL career north of the border at the Gold Coast Suns.”
Freeman, 23, played two games for the Saints after arriving from Collingwood at the end of 2015.
