Carlton will confirm the appointment of David Teague as its new senior coach on Thursday, according to The Age.
Since replacing Brendon Bolton as caretaker coach, Teague has impressed Blues fans with his attacking game style and good rapport with the playing group.
Carlton has won five of nine games under Teague including two defeats by under a goal.
It’s understood Port Adelaide assistant coach Michael Voss was the only other candidate interviewed for the top job.
Teague becomes the second interim coach to land a senior position after Rhyce Shaw was named as North Melbourne’s new head coach.
