Melbourne have made an offer for out-of-contract Collingwood forward Jamie Elliott, according to The Age.
Elliott has recovered from persistent hamstring injuries to hit some strong form in recent weeks including two goals against Geelong in the Magpies’ qualifying final win.
Collingwood has offered Elliott a two-year deal and remain optimistic about keeping the small forward at the club.
The reports suggest that Melbourne’s offer is greater than what the Pies have on the table, but Elliott has given no suggestions that he wants to leave.
Elliott, 27, has played 15 games this season, kicking 25 goals after missing the entire 2018 season through injury.
