Shaun Burgoyne will reportedly remain at Hawthorn in 2020.
According to the Herald Sun, Burgoyne has agreed to a one-year deal to stay at the Hawks next season.
The four-time premiership veteran has been courted by Gold Coast who tabled the 36-year-old a multi-year deal in a player-coach role.
It’s understood Burgoyne has knocked back the Suns’ offer to continue his decorated career at Waverley.
Burgoyne has played 376 games for both the Hawks and Port Adelaide – the most by an Indigenous player in VFL/AFL history.
