GWS co-captain Phil Davis says Brett Deledio is a chance to return for the Grand Final, should the Giants get there, while Stephen Coniglio could be a chance for the Preliminary Final.
Deledio, 32, injured his calf in the Giants’ 58-point Elimination Final win over the Western Bulldogs last week while Coniglio injured his knee in GWS’ 27-point loss against Richmond in Round 17.
Speaking on Channel 7’s Game Day, Davis was particularly confident about Coniglio’s chances of facing Collingwood in Saturday’s Preliminary Final.
"He did a full session on Saturday so hopefully he's around the mark."

“Brett is a very small chance if we were able to win this week but Cogs is probably the one that’s really close,” Davis said.
“I think he did basically a full session yesterday, so we’ll see how that pans out.
“Obviously a Prelim’s a different kettle of fish than just coming back into the regular season so we’ll see what happens there.
“But he’s doing a lot right and obviously we’re a much better team with him in it.
“But I think Leon (Cameron) said last night, no risk, but he did a full session Saturday so hopefully he’s around the mark.”
The Giants will aim to book their spot in the 2019 AFL Grand Final with a win over Collingwood at the MCG on Saturday at 4.35pm AEST.
