Pies defender and Eagles midfielder told they'll be moved on at season's end

Collingwood has reportedly told defender Sam Murray that he will not be offered a contract for the 2019 season.

AFL Media is reporting that Murray, who has missed the last 18 months after traces of cocaine were found in his system on the day of a game.

He is able to return to the club on December 17th, but with the Pies seemingly moving on from him, he would need a lifeline from another club to keep his AFL dream alive.

Meanwhile, West Coast midfielder Chris Masten has also been told that he’ll be moved on.

The Eagles have released a statement saying club and player have mutually decided to part ways after Masten’s 215-game career.
