Geelong has not offered Wylie Buzza a contract for the 2020 season.
The ruckman played nine games in four seasons for Cats after he was taken with pick No.69 in the 2015 draft.
Buzza, 23, found opportunities hard to come by in 2019, failing to make a senior appearance.
Geelong’s GM of Football Simon Lloyd praised Buzza for his contributions during his time at the club.
“Wylie’s character and personality have seen him become a popular figure amongst his teammates, coaches and club staff over his four years here,” Lloyd told geelongcats.com.au.
“We thank Wylie for his contribution to the club, everyone at Geelong wishes him the best for the future.”
Buzza’s departure comes after Geelong closed deals for Jack Steven and Josh Jenkins on trade deadline.
