The Western Bulldogs rounded out a successful trade period by acquiring St Kilda forward Josh Bruce and Adelaide defender Alex Keath.
But how will the Bulldogs set up in attack with Aaron Naughton and Josh Schache occupying the two key position posts?
Dogs list boss Sam Power is confident Bruce, Naughton and Schache can function smoothly if deployed inside 50 simultaneously.
“That will be the plan (to keep Naughton forward),” Power told SEN's The Captain’s Run.
“He just showed so much growth and development that he is going to really make an impact as a key forward.
“At the same time, bringing Josh Bruce in gives us a little bit of flexibility. We think that Josh, Aaron (Naughton) and Josh Schache can all play forward together because they bring different strengths.
“But it also gives us a little bit of flexibility that if we do need to throw Aaron back at different times then we are able to do that now, having Josh and then Alex (Keath) shoring up that defence.
Bruce and Keath landed at the Whitten Oval on the deadline day with a raft of draft picks exchanged to secure the pair.
The former Saint kicked 36 goals in 2019 and booted 168 majors in 99 games in the red, white and black.
