Levi Casboult has signed a one-year contract extension at Carlton.
Casboult will play on for an 11th season at the Blues on the back of a career-best year that saw him place fifth in the club’s best and fairest.
The 29-year-old flourished down back in the second half of the 2019 season.
“I grew up a Carlton supporter so to extend my time at the Blues to a 11th year means I can keep living the dream,” Casboult told carltonfc.com.au.
“I have loved my time in the Navy Blue and this year I have enjoyed the different challenges thrown my way, playing forward, back and in the ruck.
"Most importantly, I’m really loving my footy and that’s helping me contribute.
“Thank you to all those who have supported me during this journey so far. I’m looking forward to the 2020 season.”
Since selected with pick No.44 in the 2010 rookie draft, Casboult has gone on to play 124 games for Carlton.
Rookie Matthew Cottrell also inked a one-year deal.
