Carlton has delisted mid-season recruit Josh Deluca.
Deluca, 23, was the first pick in last season’s mid-season rookie draft and managed 10 games during his brief stay at the Blues.
The midfielder has accepted the chance to train with the Carlton’s playing group during the pre-season.
“Josh is a quality person who has given his all since coming through the doors of Ikon Park,” Head of Football Brad Lloyd told carltonfc.com.au.
“He has taken up the opportunity to train with the club during pre-season and we will provide him with all the support he needs to continue his playing career.”
Jarrod Garlett, Matthew Lobbe, Patrick Kerr, Angus Schumacher and Kym LeBois have also been culled by the Blues.
Carlton’s pre-season begins in November.
