Terry Wallace's Take

“Once again lost some gun players which needs to stop. Pleased they are going to the draft with nice picks.”

What Plough said before the trade period

“If you’re going to have three (Hill, Langdon and Lachie Neale last year) senior players go out, you’ve got to bring something back in, so that’s general outside run and some senior depth is what they’re really requiring.

“I sense Freo might lose ground, but be in a better position for future year. They’ll probably go to the draft, they’ll get some other senior players in, but not high-end quality senior players, which may take them a step back but have them better pressed for going forward.”
