Neil Craig has joined Gold Coast in a part-time consultancy role working with the Suns’ coaching staff.
Craig, 63, was a coaching advisor during England’s recent Rugby World Cup campaign and has two decades worth of experience in the AFL industry with Carlton, Essendon,
Melbourne and Adelaide.
The former Crows coach will continue his role with England while juggling his new position with Gold Coast.
“I enjoy working with coaches in high performance environments and the little bits I’ve had to do with the coaching group at the Gold Coast and Stuart (Dew) individually have been really refreshing,” Craig told goldcoastfc.com.au.
“My role will be to observe, to listen and pose questions and offer my observations to Stuey and the coaching group, based on my experiences.”
Craig’s last AFL gig came with the Blues as a director of coaching. He relinquished the role in August, 2017.
