West Coast small forward Willie Rioli has returned to training today as he awaits a verdict from ASADA.
Rioli is serving a provisional suspension after testing positive for a metabolite of cannabis on game day.
He has also been accused by ASADA of tampering with a urine sample.
The Eagles have released a statement saying they wanted to make sure Rioli was in the right state of mind before bringing him back into the fold.
Rioli spoke upon his return to training, saying he is cooperating fully with ASADA.
“It’s good to be back at the club and to see my teammates and staff,” Rioli told the club’s website.
“The club has been really supportive over the past four months.
“I have been cooperating fully with the ongoing investigation and I will continue to do so. I cannot discuss any of the details. I am looking forward to getting back to some training.”
