Traditional rivals Carlton and Collingwood have organised a practice match on Thursday the 20th of February, the same day as the Marsh Community Series gets underway.

This will likely be the first time we see Jack Martin in Carlton colours, while Sam Docherty could potentially take the field for the first time since 2017.

On the Collingwood side, Darcy Cameron may get his chance to insert himself in the Collingwood line-up, while Jamie Elliott’s pre-season midfield training will be on display as well.

The game will be staged at Ikon Park, with fans encouraged to come along and make a gold coin donation directly to aid bushfire victims.

The Blues donated $20,000 to the Bushfire Disaster Appeal, while the Pies purchased Dayne Beams’ premiership medal for $27,500, with that money going to those impacted by the bushfires.

Both teams have also held auctions and attempted to raise further funding for the cause.

The game will get underway at 4pm on February 20th.
