Charlie Dixon has had a day out for the Power in their first Marsh Series clash of the year as his side ran out 21-point winners.

The key forward booted four goals and had seven shots at goal in what is a great sign for Port Adelaide fans.

Dixon’s 2019 season was significantly impacted by a broken leg, but he appears fit and firing if today’s performance is anything to go by.

Lachie Neale meanwhile had a reasonable outing for the Lions, gathering 46 disposals and booting a goal of his own.

Eric Hipwood and Hugh McCluggage combined for six of Brisbane’s 12 goals, while Oscar McInerney kicked two.

Cam Ellis-Yolmen also made his first appearance as a Lion, finishing with 16 touches.

On the Power side, Steven Motlop was a huge standout, booting three goals and picking up 22 disposals.

Second-year players Connor Rozee and Xavier Duursma kicked four between them and Travis Boak had 33 touches.

Port will host the Bulldogs at Bennett Oval in Round 2 of the Marsh Community Series, while the Lions travel to Ikon Park to face Carlton.
