Sydney defender Heath Grundy believes tomorrow’s top of the table clash with Richmond is a massive test.
The Swans and the Tigers will look to solidify their spot atop of the AFL ladder in the Etihad Stadium blockbuster, and Grundy has expressed his excitement about the match.
“You want to play the best sides and Thursday night will be a perfect opportunity for us to see where we are at,” he told *SEN Breakfast*.
“We can get a good idea of how well we are going and the areas we need to work on for the back half of the season.”
Grundy also explained how Richmond’s slew of small forwards forces a defensive shift for the opposition.
“The game sort of goes through different stages,” he said.
“It does make it a little bit more difficult at times but hopefully we can get enough pressure on the ball and we can use a bit of height to our advantage as well, get intercept marks and go from there.”
